Worship is at the heart of all we do at Saint Michael’s.
The 5 o'clock p.m. Saturday service is a Eucharistic service attractive to those who cannot be with us on Sundays. A warm greeting opens the service and a reception in the Parish Hall follows. Casual dress is appropriate.
The 9:30 a.m. Sunday* Eucharist service (during the Summer months) uses contemporary language, but has a traditional feel for Episcopalians, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, and others. Familiar hymns and music, are part of the service. Coffee and fellowship in the Parish Hall follow this service, which lasts about an hour. (*With Sundays Overseas Shuttle).

The 9 o'clock a.m. Wednesday service is a said Eucharist with prayers for healing.
The 6 o'clock p.m. Wednesday service is a Lay-led service with prayers and hymns with time for reflection and meditation. During the Summer months, this service meets on the first Wednesday of the month, followed by our Pot Luck Supper.
Children are encouraged to attend any of our services. We also have a child-friendly room available during the services. Families may come and go from this room, which is one of several which offers closed circuit TV monitors of the service. Please see the Children and Youth page for more information.
The Worship Commission, which involves about half the congregation, is special worship ministries, including Ushers, Altar Guild, Choir, Lectors, Lay Ministers, Greeters, Acolytes, and more. Please join us in these ministries of service and leadership. A special invitation stands for "seasonal" experienced singers to be a part of the Parish Choir - even if you are here for a short period. Please call the church at [239] 472-2173 for more information or e-mail parishsecretary@saintmichaels-sanibel.org.
