Noah's Ark is Open!

 

Noah’s Ark is open to customers with limited occupancy.  

We currently have SUMMER HOURS: Tuesdays & Fridays, 9:30 - 12:30.

The showroom is limited to 20 customers at a time, socially distanced, and masked.  To enhance our safety protocols, purchases by credit card have been implemented -  cash and checks are still accepted.

All Ark volunteer staff have been fully vaccinated and are scheduled ahead of time.  Detailed safety information for the Ark volunteers has been provided to them.

Donations are being accepted, bring them on!  Drop off on the loading dock anytime.

Noah's Ark Mission is to sell donated items to fund grants that alleviate suffering, while nurturing compassion and friendship between volunteers and customers.

Most of our profits are donated to charities identified through grant applications submitted to the St. Michael's Grant Committee. Grants are made to benefit local, national, and worldwide needs

The many charities we have been able to support in SW Florida include:  Abuse Counseling and Treatment. (ACT), All Souls Episcopal Church Outreach program, Community Cooperative Ministries (CCMI), Community Housing Resources (CHR), FISH, Guardian Ad Litem Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Human Trafficking Awareness Project, Immokalee Fair Housing, Alliance, Lighthouse of SWFlorida, PACE Center for Girls, Partners in Breast Cancer Care, Pine Manor Improvement Assoc., South Ft Myers Food Pantry, Valerie’s House. 

The Global charities supported  include: Africaid, Common Hope, ECHO, Jerusalem Peace Builders, Our Little Roses Mission.

SHOPING:

Noah’s Ark offers donated men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, children’s items, housewares and décor.  Other items include: puzzles/games, linens, furniture, lamps, sporting equipment and electronics.  Also offered are beach items, bikes and books – including excellent vacation reading – in its own special book section, “Barnes and Noah.”  And, new items are put out hourly!

 

 

DONATIONS:

Noah’s Ark gladly accepts new and gently used donations.  There is a loading dock at the side of the store.  If you pull up, volunteers will help unload.  All furniture requires pre-approval. Please call Noah’s Ark at (239) 472-3356 to speak with the Furniture Chairperson. We are not able to accept sleep sofas, mattresses or armoires.  We do provide free pickup of pre-approved furniture on regularly scheduled days and request a small donation to help defray delivery costs.  Please limit donations to clean, gently-used items, nothing moldy, stained or broken. The Ark staff and St. Michael & All Angels Church extend heartfelt thanks to all donors who make the Ark’s charitable mission a continuing success.
