Men’s Ministries

The Men's Ministries of Saint Michael and All Angels Church were established to prepare Christian men to nurture men of faith (Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations") through prayer, education and mutual encouragement. The primary goals are to provide spiritual growth, mutual support and sharing ideas, viewpoints, and opinions. The Men's Ministries consist of the Men's Fellowship Group which meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month and the annual Men's Retreat.

The Fellowship meetings are held in the Parish Hall from 7:30 to 8:45 AM. All men of the community are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend. Members of the group volunteer to provide coffee, refreshments, and lead a discussion on the biblically related topic of the day, either a book of the Bible or related material. Copies of the readings are available on the prior Sunday.

A prayer led by the rector and hymn singing open the meeting. Following a review of the topic, small groups of four to six men discuss it among themselves with "reports out" to the whole group for general discussion. A closing prayer concludes the meeting.

Men's Retreat:  This weekend event at an off-site location provides a forum for the men of the parish to address major issues facing Christian men at this time in their lives. The agenda is led by an outside speaker and meeting facilitator with the goal of spiritual growth and understanding.  The Men's 2016 Retreat is TBD. For more information contact the Church Office (239) 472-2173.
